MyCarePal is built in Newark, Nottinghamshire, by registered managers who still support people in social care every day.
Our story
Why we built MyCarePal
Anyone who has worked in a care home knows how much time paperwork takes away from the people you support, and how much pressure managers are under to evidence the quality of their care.
MyCarePal comes from 23 years on the front line. Our lead developer is a registered manager who has run both domiciliary and residential services, and who spent those years building the software their own teams needed to manage large services well.
The people behind MyCarePal are still part of a management team supporting people every day: younger adults living with mental health conditions, older people living with dementia, and people who may present with behaviour that challenges. We work alongside local authority commissioners, safeguarding teams, community mental health teams and social workers, delivering contracts for local authorities and the NHS.
The all-new MyCarePal care planning app is the next step in that journey, designed around the needs of residential care homes, their managers and their care teams.
